Partnership with NITI Aayog Aspirational Districts Programme for Kalahandi

Vedanta Limited, Lanjigarh, has joined hands with the government think-tank NITI Aayog to help improve the overall quality of life of the people of Kalahandi district in Odisha. Vedanta are NITI Aayog are working with the district administration to review and co-create strategic action plans to improve the lives of local communities through interventions in health and nutrition, education, financial inclusion, skill development and basic infrastructure development, as defined in the ‘Aspirational Districts’ mandate, under the overall development policies of the state government.
