Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking to hire passionate global leaders for the following positions within our Aluminium Business. The successful applicant will be responsible for spearheading their respective Product Group within Vedanta Aluminium’s Business to capture full value of casthouse capacity, with complete ownership of the product P&L. The incumbent will collaborate with our product development experts in R&D to introduce new products to meet emerging customer needs and work towards maximizing Vedanta’s share of India Domestic Market, displacing imported products and capturing share from domestic competitors. The incumbent will design strategies for growth in export markets to ensure maximum price realization and contribution through full utilization of existing Alloys capacity.

The incumbent should focus on delivering value creation through driving automation by benchmarking with global best practices, assessing market trends, utilizing analytics, stakeholder management, business partner management, people development and embracing cutting-edge technology, digitalization and innovation. Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and group policies to mitigate potential risk will be vital for these roles. The leader shall deliver value in terms of price realization, production efficiency, productivity and quality for these products.

• Meeting the set BP targets
• To ensure availability/ raising the dyke height and stability of the ash pond with water recirculation facility
• Analysis of technical data
• To coordinate with ash pond in charge for better coordination in AHP – Main plant
• To utilize the capacity fully
• Monitor the operations and ensure maintenance of ash ponds
• Ensure 100% compliance to all statutory, legal and environment norms
• To coordinate with main plant operation for planning & disposal of ash
• Ensuring implementation of business excellence models & benchmarking practices like TPM/TQM/Six Sigma and Management system such as ISO/OHSAS
• To check that no water discharge and fugitive emissions in Ash pond
• Ensure smooth disposal of ash as per health, safety and environmental norms
• Directing O&M service provider for smooth maintenance of ash pond

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitoring the entire administration of the refinery which includes transport inside the plant housekeeping for every department, food and canteen management etc.
• Monitoring the township administration which includes ensuring state of the art housing facilities for the employees, canteens, transportation and travel management
• Oversee facility maintenance and safety protocols to ensure a conducive working environment for employees
• Beautification of the colony and organizing cultural events for the employees to ensure better quality of life
• Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and service providers to support business needs and cost-effectiveness
• Oversee the activities of Phase-3 colony extension and support for its on time completion
• Ensuring better training and development of subordinates.
• Identify areas for process improvement and innovation within the administrative domain, driving initiatives to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities

Demarcation of block boundary as per vesting order. Fixing of lease boundary pillars on ground. DGPS survey and digitalisation of all available maps of the coal block. Making cadastral map for project after integrating all village wise khasra maps. Block boundary topographical survey and preparation of statutory plans. Volume calculations of overburden and coal with the help of latest software like Minex and Surpac. Continuously updating land aquisition plans. Carrying out survey work with total station, DGPS survey instruments, LASER Scanner etc. Preparing and updating all statutory maps, reports etc. as per Mines Act..

• Identifying opportunity for efficient disposal of Ash & targeting for cost neutral disposal strategies
• Analysis Monitoring & Debottlenecking internal logistics of Ash
• Improving TAT of truck movements for maximizing benefits
• Keeping effective vigilance over the day-to-day operations of transporters & individuals deployed on ground to proactively provide inputs & highlight deviations
• Ensuring random checks to confirm the correctness of disposal avenues
• Review & create systems to ensure contractual deviations emerge out digitally
• Auditing of the overall ash generation & disposal processes to ensure adherence of SOP’s
• Prevent leakages in the existing systems through process improvement with internal stakeholders to ensure optimal output
