Looking ahead, Vedanta Aluminium is actively exploring further collaborations with startups in areas such as Smart Pot Solutions and Metal Recovery from Red Mud – both crucial interventions for advancing the aluminium industry. The Smart Pot Solutions project, which would be the first of its kind in an aluminium smelter in the world, is a groundbreaking initiative that promises to redefine industry standards. The Metal Recovery from Red Mud initiative, aimed at extracting valuable metals from industrial waste, aligns with Vedanta Aluminium’s sustainability objectives by transforming waste into a resource that can be utilised.
